Imminent AGM notice - Tonight! Get your point of view across, and help us to choose a new committee for this next year - 2010. Starting on Tuesday January 26th at 7:30 PM in courtroom at the town hall, Rhiw Road, Colwyn Bay.
AGM Agenda
There are many things to decide soon, with a lot of the mundane society things needing to be looked after by the committee. If you want to make changes to the society, the choice of committee members is of paramount importance to you. Only by choosing people you think will act in accordance with your views can you get the most out of the society shows. Perhaps you may even be able to spend some time working on these things yourself, and are interested in playing a greater role in the committee stuff. To be honest, as the committee secretary I had expected that there would be a lot to do, but we only need a few meetings a year to keep things running reasonably smoothly. If you're new and just thinking about getting involved or just want to find out what sort of time commitment is needed to take part in a show, please come along. There will be plenty of people you can ask during the evening. We especially want to hear from you if you have any constructive ideas as to how we can make things better, or if you feel things went very wrong, then how this happened. Our aim should always be to make the whole experience enjoyable. After all, we volunteer to do this! Why not come and join us and find out more. We have yet to decide which Gilbert & Sullivan operetta we should go for next. Watch this space to find out when we shall be auditioning. We will be looking for pretty much every role. We usually rehearse every Tuesday and sometimes Friday, at 7:30 PM in The Town Hall, Rhiw Rd. (beside the Police station), Colwyn Bay or at St. Joseph's Parish Centre, Brackley Avenue, Colwyn Bay, North Wales We'd love to see you there! |
